How do I register my account?

You can register your account with your email. We will need you to confirm it and make sure that you can be reached by this email.

What information is required for profile creation?

To create your profile, you need to provide information about yourself (such as your artist name and location), add your Feeture terms, and pass verification.

Can I update my profile information later?

There is an option to edit your profile information after the account setup is fully completed.

Music Upload

How do I upload my music to my profile?

You can upload a song during profile creation and select a 30-second preview that best represents your style.

What file formats are supported for music uploads?

You can upload music in any file format from your files.

Is there a limit to the number of tracks I can upload?

Currently, you can add one song to your profile that best represents your style and showcases you as an artist.

Search and Filters

How can I search for other artists on the platform?

You can search for artists by name, and as you start typing, suggested results will appear.

What filters can I use to narrow down my search results?

You can filter artists by genre, gender, location, Feeture fee, and artist type, helping you find specific artists based on your criteria.

Artist Statistics

What kind of statistics are available about artists?

We gather statistics from our partners at Viberate. If the artist is listed on Viberate and has verified their account on Feeture, you'll be able to see details like their global monthly listeners across all streaming platforms, as well as their audience demographic breakdown by gender and age.

How can I view an artist's statistics?

Artist statistics are accessible on their profiles, however you do need to have an active subscription to view.

Feeture fee & Offers

What is a Feeture fee, and how does it work?

A Feeture fee is the price you set for collaborating with other artists. When you add this information to your profile, it indicates to others what your preferred fee is for collaborations. This fee can be updated at any time.

The average Feeture fee for a new artist ranges from $100 - $1,000.
Rising & breakout artists typically charge between $1,000 - $10,000, depending on market traction and audience size.
Established artists can charge upwards of $10,000, with no upper limit on the Feeture fee.

How do I make an offer to collaborate with another artist?

You can make an offer directly on the artists’ profile. On their profile, you’ll see if they are currently accepting offers and if they are open to negotiating terms. Once you click the ‘Feeture’ button it will show you all their terms and conditions and you can make an offer.

How can I receive offers from other artists?

If your profile is published and you have an active subscription, other artists can make offers, and you’ll be notified. You’ll find these offers in your 'Offers' tab. Additionally, in your account settings, you can choose to mark yourself as not accepting offers, so others won’t be able to send requests. However, you can still make offers to other artists.

What steps are involved in negotiating offer terms?

When making an offer, if the artist is open to negotiation, you will be able to edit the Feeture terms during the offer creation process by clicking ‘suggest term changes’ and editing each negotiable point before making your offer.

What is a primary right?

As a primary artist, you agree to be listed as one of the main artists on the track you are collaborating on. If you allow this, you are granting the main artist the right to credit you as a primary artist on the Feeture. You can decide this for each Feeture.

What is a master royalty, and how can I decide my percentage?

Master royalties are earned every time a song is streamed, sold, or downloaded.

Average percentages: Main Artist earns 70%-90%, while the Feeture Artist earns 10%-30%.

What is a publishing royalty, and how can I decide my percentage?

Publishing royalties are earned every time a song is performed, broadcast, or reproduced.

Average percentages: Main Artist earns 75%-90%, while the Feeture Artist earns 10%-25%.

Subscription

What is the difference between Premium and Standard subscriptions?

With a Premium subscription, you get everything included in the Standard package, plus:

Boosted visibility in search results, increasing the chances that other artists will find your profile faster.
Guaranteed access to exclusive IRL events.
Editorial support and promotional opportunities.
First access to new features and updates.

How do I subscribe to the Premium plan?

When you're ready to subscribe, you can find the option in your profile or access it from the features that are hidden to users without a subscription. Once selected, you'll be able to choose the Premium VIP subscription plan.

Contracts

How do the in-built contracts work?

In Feeture, built-in contracts help manage agreements with Artists. When Artists find each other and want to collaborate, they agree to the contract terms based on the information they provide to us. The app records who agreed, what they agreed to, and when. This information is stored securely, making it easy for Feeture to keep track of all the agreements made between Artists. This system helps Feeture handle many users efficiently and reduces legal risks.

Can I customize the contract terms?

Yes you can, based on the information you provide to us.

Are the contracts legally binding?

Contracts on Feeture are legally binding as they meet standard legal requirements: offer, acceptance, mutual consent, consideration, capacity, and compliance with applicable laws. These elements ensure enforceability in a court of law.

What information do I need to provide for a contract?

For a contract on Feeture, you need to provide your full name, address, email address, and, if applicable, your IPI/CAE number, the name of your Performing Rights Organization (PRO), your label name, and the name of any furnishing company involved (if any). This information ensures accurate identification of all parties and clearly defines rights and responsibilities.

What is a PRO?

A PRO (Performing Rights Organization) is an entity that manages the rights of songwriters and publishers by collecting royalties on behalf of its members when their music is played publicly. Examples include BMI, ASCAP, and SESAC. You can sign up for one easily by searching Performance Rights Organizations and registering.

What is an IP/CAE number?

An IPI/CAE number is an international identification number used to identify participants in a musical work. It is assigned to composers, authors, and publishers to ensure correct royalty distribution. Once you sign up with a PRO (Performing Rights Organization) you will be issued your own unique IP/CAE number.

What is a furnishing company?

In the music industry, a furnishing company refers to an entity that provides artists with the necessary resources and support to create music. This can include financial backing, studio time, production services, and other logistical support. The furnishing company essentially "furnishes" the artist with what they need to produce their work, often in exchange for a share of the profits or rights to the music produced. This arrangement is common in record deals where the label acts as the furnishing company, helping artists bring their creative projects to fruition. Not all artists use a furnishing company to make music, so no worries if you do not have one.

Do I need to have a label to sign up to Feeture?

No, you do not need to have a label to sign up for Feeture. Independent artists can create accounts and offer their content directly on the platform without requiring a label.

Do I need to have a publisher to sign up to Feeture?

No, you do not need to have a publisher to sign up for Feeture. Artists can join the platform and manage their content independently without the need for a publishing deal.

Chats

How can I initiate a direct chat with another artist?

Direct chat becomes accessible once a collaboration is created. However, during the offer process, you can communicate with the other artist directly through notes to negotiate terms.

Are my chats private and secure?

Yes, only you can access your direct chats with other users. All communications are private and secure.

Can I save or archive my chat conversations?

Chats are part of the collaboration process. When a collaboration is canceled or completed, the chat will be archived after 30 days, but you will still have access to it in the archive.

Where can I find my signed contracts?

All signed contracts are available in the "Contract" tab within each collaboration. From there, you can view, share, or download the contract.

How do I request an extension on the delivery deadline?

If you are the collaborating artist, you have the option to request a revision. Each request can extend the deadline by up to 7 days. If approved, you will be notified, and the delivery deadline will be adjusted accordingly.

How do I update an agreed release date?

During the contract signing process, you will negotiate and finalize the release date with the other artist. Once approved, it is added to the contract. While you can still discuss the release date via direct messages, it cannot be changed in the contract after approval.

Reviews

How can I leave a review for an artist I collaborated with?

Once the collaboration is finished, both artists can leave a review for each other. These reviews will be displayed on their profiles and help other artists assess potential collaboration experiences.

Can I edit or delete my review after posting it?

After posting, you cannot edit or delete your review. Please be objective when leaving feedback. If you encounter any abusive content, you can report the user, and you won’t see any content from them.

Verification

How does the artist verification process work?

There are two ways to verify your account. The first is through Instagram verification. If your profile is verified on the Viberate platform, you will also be verified on the Feeture app, and your statistics will be displayed. Alternatively, you can undergo manual verification by recording a video and providing your Spotify link. An admin will review your request and verify your information.

What documents or information are required for verification?

Currently, there is no need to provide any documents for verification.

How long does it take to get verified?

Manual verification can typically take up to 24 hours. However we do try to process this much faster.

What are the benefits of being a verified artist?

Verified artists gain more credibility, as this process ensures that no one is misusing someone else's name and that you are collaborating with real artists. Additionally, only verified artists will have statistics displayed on their profiles.

How will I know if my verification was successful?

You will receive a notification regarding the status of your verification.

What should I do if my verification application is rejected?

If your verification application is rejected, you will need to submit it again, following the provided instructions.

Payments

How do I make a payment?

To make a payment, log in to your account in our web app and proceed with the payment via Stripe.

How do I receive a payment?

You will receive two payments: the first after the demo is accepted, and the second after the final audio file is approved. All transactions are displayed on your payment dashboard on the website. You can review this anytime by logging into via the website at https://app.feeture.com/login

What fees are associated with payments?

In addition to paying an artists’ Feeture Fee, there is also a service charge which amounts to 3.9% of the total price plus a fixed transaction fee of $1.50.

Does Feeture take a commission on collaborations?

Depending on your subscription tier, Feeture takes a platform commission of between 4%-7%. Premium users have a lower commission than Standard users.

How do I request a refund?

You have the right to request a refund according to the agreed terms if you are not satisfied with the quality of the demo before you accept it. Additionally, you can request a full refund if the deadline is missed.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept a variety of payment methods through Stripe, including:
